This is a collection of fine art mountain landscape photography from the Enchantments of Washington State. In October 2018, I was incredibly lucky to join a couple of friends on a 4 day backpacking trip in the Enchantment Lakes Wilderness. This alpine mountain area is tightly regulated by a limited availability permit system. Only ~4% of applicants are awarded backpacking permits to the Core Enchantments Area each year. We had great conditions for the first 3 days of the trip, but an early fall storm chased us out of the Core a day early. The Enchantment Lakes Region is absolutely magical, especially in the fall when the larch trees turn to gold!
